What does Noah do everyday?

February 9, 2009
So, last night, my mother asked us what Noah does all day. While his social network isn't quite where he would like it to be (we blame the language barrier), he is working towards making new friends. His "induction" into daycare has begun. Which means that Noah and Daddy go to the center for an hour or so a few times a week to slowly introduce him to his new surroundings. In between those visits, Noah has found some activities at home that he really enjoys.
One of his new best friends, Mr. Crazy Monkey. When Mr. Crazy Monkey isn't flailing his arms and legs within inches of Noah's face and screeching like a, well......, monkey, they like to cuddle.

When they get bored of that, the neutral Swiss Cow and the Scottish Sheep (more Irish if you ask me) join the fun.
Reading is always a fun way to pass the time, especially when Noah laughs at the pictures. We try to laugh along with him, but have a difficult time finding the comedy of a white dog on a red background. Maybe it's Mommy's funny voices.

This was probably more fun for Daddy, as it was the first day Mommy left us alone for an extended time.

Day 2 of being left alone. Daddy called it a "Euro Spike"

Admiring all of his pictures on the wall

Swingin' the day away

Noah has finally come around to the idea of the Baby Bjorn. He can easily pass hours watching chores get done around the house

Although it was Daddy's song first, Mommy thinks "You're So Vain" might fit Noah better. After the admiration fades, he often gets stuck in the endless cycle of smiling at himself.

It's tiring work being this cute!!!

Tummy time, Dr. prescribed to help strengthen his neck, seemed like torture when we first started. But now he holds his head up like a champ.

Showing off his most favorite outfit..... for those who can't read it, Perfect (Just like my Dad)

Finally, the most fun thing in the world, kicking the noise making thingy! He can spend a long time on his activity gym, kicking his legs, throwing his arms around, and laughing at how fun it can be.
