So, we finally got our container of stuff, including my car and our kayak! The kayak, Rani and I built back in New Hope before moving. Unfortunately, we never got to sea trial it before it got packed into our container and travelled the 3272 miles across the Atlantic. Not intimidated by its serious ocean experience, we strapped it to the car and headed to the launch ramp. It was a bit windy and, therefore, a bit wavy. Perfect conditions to test a kayak.
It performed really well. No waves came over the cockpit coaming and was paddled easily with one or two people. Coming soon..... The kayak will transform into a sailing trimaran, hopefully before LC gets here.
Rani, All geared up ready to GO!
Remember the wheels from one of the funny stories? Well, coming in real handy, now.
Cmon. Get in... You afraid of your handiwork? Watch out for that swan!
