Sept. 5-19
Mom, Mom Cerny, let's just call her LC, came to visit. This was her first trip to Europe, so we worked to fit as much as possible into a two week span. After recovering from jet lag on Friday, we headed out to do some baby stuff shopping.
Yup, that's our future baby furniture
On Sunday, we did some sightseeing in Lucerne (I know we seem to go there a lot, but it is a really cool place and it is so close).

The famous foot bridge over the River

Mom and I enjoying some Starbucks coffee. Maybe that's why we keep returning to
Lucerne?

Rani and LC enjoying the paintwork on the historic buildings

We headed to the city walls to climb the tower

First floor of the tower....

On our way to the top. She may have a smile on her face...... You learn something new everyday, right? Well, I assumed that my mother, Master of Cedar Point Roller Coasters, would not be afraid of heights. We will have to do something about that.....

Is that a smile or a grimace?!

Back on solid ground, in front of the Slain Lion statue

It happened to be our first anniversary the next day, so this was our dinner.
Fondue!!!
