Nicole visits Switzerland & Paris!

Nicoles Extravaganza Visit
It was great that Nicole was able to come over for as long as she did and spend some quality time with the Cerny family. We got to do alot of new and exciting things while she was visiting. But the best way to start off a visit is...that's right, the thermal spa.

Relaxing after a long plane ride.
First stop- Lucerne

Noah taking Aunt Nicole for a walk on the city wall.

Shopping for one of our Swiss souvenirs - our very own cow bell!

Augustus Roman Ruins
What a find this was - way to go Nicole!

The dining room in Roman times.

'What the heck do I do with this thing?'

Fun and games the old school way.

We came upon these ruins in the middle of a cow pasture and thought it would be the perfect place to let Noah play.
Until he found this....'Help Mommy, I've fallen in a well and I can't get up!'

'Ook Dad....Moooo. There really are cows in the middle of these ancient ruins.'

At the coliseum

Really the light at the end of the tunnel.
Schwengen Fest
This happens to be a big year for the sport of Schwengen as Switzerland is looking for the national champion. Something that is only done every 4 years. We happened to be able to find a Schwengn Fest to attend during Nicole's stay so we could partake in some local folly.

Enjoying some refreshments.

'Now, how can I get up on that auto?'

En Route de Paris
Along the wa to Paris from Switzerland we decided to meander through Burgundy and see if we could pick up some wine to take with us to Paris and mazbe some to bring home too.

A small winery in Dijon, Burgundy area.

Versailles

Having some lunch in the garden of Versaille.

Back in Swissland
We made it back safe and sound after our sojourn in Paris and we found that Noah had learned how to make French Toast for us in our absence. Then we were off to hit an old Swiss castle.

Some of the bread made it into the pan eventually.

Holding up the wall.

Who's going in first?

Hmmm...people must have been a little shorter back in the day. Watch your head Noah!

A real moat!

A quick jaunt to Cleveland

May 13-17th - Happy Belated Mothers Day
We were in Cleveland for a long weekend after Mothers Day and luckily Noah was able to see all of his grandparents. It was really quick but great to see everyone.

Here is cousin Kennedy ('Kiki' to Noah) enjoying the swings on our first day home.

Kiki catching up to Noah.

Did you see all the cool toys Kiki has Mom?

Playing at the playground with Oma & Opa Price.
