Rob and Steve join the Crew

Rob and Steve stopped by for a few days after their motorcycle tour through the Alps.

We took a short trip up to Rouen to see the sights.

The Palais du Justice of Rouen. You can see the all the bullet holes from a battle at the begining of the French Revolution.

The next day, we headed up to Omaha beach. Rob and Steve in front of the statue commemorating D-day.

A few minutes down the road is the famous Pointe du Hoc where U.S. Army Rangers scaled the cliffs to secure this important defensive position from the German Army. Pictured above is a German gun placement with attached bunker.

Although scenic now, you can still see the scars on the land from the thousands of Allied bombs that it took to overtake this position.
