February- Some exciting stuff

February 15- 28, 2009
This month has been a lot of fun. Noah has grown a ton!! It feels like any day now he is going to climb out of his crib and start walking. We have had a visitor for most of the month. Flat Stanley is his name. He is part of a school project our friends child is doing. He has come to learn about the Swiss. With some beautiful weather on the weekends, we have gotten to enjoy some new places and show Stanley around.

About an hour from home, we went up into the mountains and visited some ski villages.
A view from the village, looking down into the valley

Being used to ski resorts in the States, sledding down the mountain came as a bit of a surprise. Looks like a blast!

The laughs are growing larger and larger and he is using his hands much more to grab things within reach

Noah and Mom really enjoy the Baby Einstein videos.

It's amazing it keeps his attention and every once in awhile he will let out a real big laugh. He really likes the dolphins swimming and jumping. We take that as a good sign!!

We all look forward to bath time every night

A true sign of how much he has grown. He was dwarfed by the snow suit in January. (check out the post in January, "Coming to America")

One of Noah and Mommy's favorite activities, Dancing!!

Heading to the grocery store for Saturday breakfast

Noah has moved from his bassinet to his crib this month. It has been hard getting him to sleep as well as he did in the bassinet, especially when people are flashing pictures, but he is doing good.

This is always a good sign of a sound nap. He will giggle and talk to himself until you come into the room. Then it's nothing but big laughs!!

Checking out the new decorations from Aunt Melissa

Going for a jog in the beautiful weather

Oh look, Flat Stanley came along

This was tons of fun. He was really interested in the ducks and the swan in the water. Then when he saw the gulls flying overhead, he let out a big squeal

Now for the grand finale!! While skyping with Grandma and Grandpa Price, Noah was showing off his tummy time skills. Like always, he soon tired and made it clear he wanted to go back to laying on his back. Maybe Mom's reaction time was slow, but he decided to do it himself!!! It was an awesome moment to share with the grandparents. So, before bath time, we tried for an encore and captured it on video.
